About Spending Less

On this blog, you can know me just as "Spender".  I am an anonymous personal finance blogger from the Central Valley in California.  I am married in my mid-20s.  I work as a software devleoper and my wife is in education.

The Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to document my thoughts and progress as my wife and I work towards being debt free by practicing the act of simply spending less than we earn (along with careful budgeting and saving).  I am not a professional investor, finacial advisor, or anything of the sort, so much of the information here will be my own opinions or findings.  Many will be open to discussion, as I will openly admit that I am not expert.

My hope is that by documenting my own experiences, someone else might find the blog, in a similiar situation, and use my experiences to help themselves.  I would also love to hear from other people who have been where I am and can offer their insight into the topics I post about.
